Naranjo White Water Rafting

The Naranjo River near Quepos delivers a steep, exciting run through mountains, jungle gorges, farmland and palm plantations. After a safety briefing you take on rapids that stay Class III year-round and build to Class IV in the rainy season, with a mid-trip break to catch your breath and soak up the views. Rafts hold up to six plus a guide, and safety kayakers ride along. Runs May to December; a fresh local lunch follows, and children must be at least 8.
