From the village of Londres near Quepos, saddle up for a roughly 2.5-hour round-trip ride through secondary rainforest, with valley views, lush vegetation and plenty of birds and reptiles along the trail. At the turnaround a beautiful waterfall invites you to rest for about 30 minutes — lie on the grass or take a swim — before you ride back and sit down to a delicious lunch made with local ingredients. No experience required; children riding alone must be at least 8.
